What is the Feeding the Hungry Event?

Feeding the Hungry is a community driven effort to cultivate a safe space for
those in need within Jacksonville FL to encourage health and wellness within our
community. The Feeding the Hungry program is operating under the Health Education and Training Center of Gainesville, Inc, and is sponsored by Panera Bread, Publix, Susie's Affordable 2nds Thrift shop , and Harvest Ministries! The community enjoys free wellness such as; free mental health screenings, yoga/meditation, food, and free hair styling. The event is held every month on Saturdays from 12:00pm-3:00pm

This event will have local vendors that will conduct FREE wellness services to the
community ONCE a month. We will be accepting up to 20 clients in each category.

Monthly Event schedule:

11:00-1:00pm Free food distribution
11:30 am-1:00pm haircuts and massages (3 hour cuts and massages)
12:00pm-2:00pm mental health services (2 hour therapy)
1:30pm- 2:00pm- Yoga on the lawn
